Non-Identified
Donors and intended parents remain anonymous with no exchange of personal details. Our team handles all matching and transfer logistics for a smooth, confidential process. Optional EDC Nexus registration lets you share medical and lifestyle updates securely.
Semi Open
A balanced option that allows contact while protecting both the donors and intended parent's privacy. Through EDC Nexus, donors and recipients can share updates and communicate securely, fostering connection with boundaries in place.
Open
Allows full contact once matched. Communication occurs through EDC Nexus or directly (even in person) if both parties agree. Our team supports with EDC Nexus access but does not monitor communication outside the platform.
Embryo Adoption Process
At Acts of Kindness Embryo Donation, we strive to make the matching process simple and seamless for our intended parents. Here’s an overview of the steps involved:
Register for Access
Begin by registering for free and explore the possibilities, view available embryo donors, learn their stories, and take the first step toward growing your family.
Choose a Profile
Once you find a donor you’d like to match with, simply click on their profile and select “Reserve” for all available embryos. This step ensures the embryos are held for you while we move forward with the matching process.
Match Acceptance
Once you reserve embryos, our team will review your profile to be sure it matches the donor’s preferences. If everything looks good, we’ll connect with your clinic’s lab team to confirm they can receive the embryos. This way, you can move forward with confidence knowing the match is a good fit and your clinic is ready to support the next step in your journey.
Matching Fees
After your clinic confirms acceptance, we’ll provide an invoice for our matching fee ($7,000). For semi-open or open matches, this will also include access to EDC Donor Nexus ($500), a secure platform that makes it easy to share updates and stay connected. We keep our process simple and transparent, so you always know what to expect as you move forward.
Ownership Forms
Once your invoice is paid, we will send you our Intended Parent Agreement to review and sign. This agreement outlines the expectations for the match from your side and officially transfers ownership of the embryos into your name, ensuring a clear and secure path forward in your journey to parenthood.
Finalizing Your Match
Your match is official once all forms are signed. The final step is to coordinate the embryo(s)’ shipment to your clinic or arrange secure storage with our storage partner, CryoFuture, ensuring they are ready as you continue on your journey.
